The short version
Daily Oracle has no account and no analytics, and we run no servers. Your cards and history stay on your phone. The app is free and shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google's ad SDK collects some device data to show and measure those ads, as described below.
Who we are
Daily Oracle: Tarot & Moon is published by AZAI Corp., a Canadian company based in British Columbia. Contact: asoni@kancanada.com.
What stays on your device
- The cards you've drawn and the date of each draw.
- The daily actions you've marked done.
- Your settings, such as the reminder time.
- A random ID created on your phone that personalises your 3-card spread. It isn't linked to you and is never sent anywhere.
None of this is sent to AZAI Corp. or any third party. It isn't included in Android device backups, and uninstalling the app deletes it.
Ads
The app shows ads from Google AdMob: a banner, an optional rewarded video before the 3-card spread, and an occasional full-screen ad. To show, limit and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share:
- your device's advertising ID and app set ID;
- your approximate location, derived from your IP address;
- interactions with ads, such as views and taps;
- diagnostic and crash information.
Google processes this information under its own privacy policy. See also how Google uses information from apps that use its services. AZAI Corp. doesn't receive this data.
If you're in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, or in a US state whose privacy law requires it, the app asks for your consent or choices before ads are personalised. You can change your choices at any time in the app under Settings → Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
No analytics, no selling
The app has no analytics SDK of its own. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't receive any data from the app ourselves.
Share images
When you tap Share, the image of your card is drawn on your phone and handed to the app you choose through Android's share sheet. Daily Oracle doesn't upload it anywhere; what happens next is up to you and the app you share to.
Permissions
- Notifications (optional): one daily reminder at the time you choose. It's scheduled on your phone; no server sends it.
- Internet and network state: used only by the Google Mobile Ads SDK to load ads. The cards, quotes and moon data work offline.
- Advertising ID: used by the Google Mobile Ads SDK as described above.
- Vibration: a short tap when you turn a card over.
Children
Daily Oracle isn't directed at children under 13 and is listed for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
Your rights
Under PIPEDA (Canada), GDPR (EU/EEA) and similar laws elsewhere, you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. We don't hold any personal data about you. For data processed by Google for ads, use the choices above or Google's own tools. Questions: asoni@kancanada.com.
